You may provide LessonKeeper certain information through use of the app. For example, instructor and student profiles may be entered, which are then stored by LessonKeeper. If you choose to delete this data, it is removed from your device and from LessonKeeper's archive.
If you are signed into LessonKeeper with the "Sign in with Apple" functionality, LessonKeeper data is stored both on the device and on LessonKeeper's servers, managed by Google's Firebase service. If you choose to delete this data, it is removed from your device and from LessonKeeper's archive.
You may access or change or delete your information from the LessonKeeper iOS or macOS apps. Deleted information may be kept in backups for up to 90 days. Backups are encrypted and are only accessed if needed for disaster recovery. LessonKeeper may delete your information at any time and for any reason, such as technical needs, legal concerns, abuse prevention, removal of idle accounts, data loss, or any other reason.
Some data may be automatically collected by LessonKeeper's server tools while uploading or syncing data, such as your IP address.
LessonKeeper uses your information in actions that are initiated by you within the app. For example, if you enter a student's email address, LessonKeeper can then send Lesson data to that student when you share Lessons. We use the information we collect to operate and improve our website, apps, and customer support. We do not share personal information with outside parties except to the extent necessary to accomplish LessonKeeper’s functionality. We may share anonymous, aggregate statistics with outside parties, such as how many people listen to a particular podcast with LessonKeeper. We may disclose your information in response to subpoenas, court orders, or other legal requirements; to exercise our legal rights or defend against legal claims; to investigate, prevent, or take action regarding illegal activities, suspected fraud or abuse, violations of our policies; or to protect our rights and property. In the future, we may sell to, buy, merge with, or partner with other businesses. In such transactions, user information may be among the transferred assets.
LessonKeeper relies on Google's trusted Firebase platform to protect the integrity and security of your information. However, no security precautions or systems can be completely secure. We cannot ensure or warrant the security of any information you transmit to LessonKeeper, and you do so at your own risk. We cannot guarantee that such information may not be accessed, disclosed, altered, or destroyed by breach of any physical, technical, or managerial safeguards.
LessonKeeper offers an In-App Purchase for an auto-renewable subscription. No information is collected by LessonKeeper during this process. The subscription can be managed via Apple's tools.
